Welcome to Adventures in Knowledge

A place to share your anecdotes

The purpose of this Wiki is to capture anecdotes of where knowledge sharing has or for that matter has not worked in your experience. From my perspective, the best learnings come from hearing about what other's experiences have been, the roadblocks faced, and how they have approached knowledge sharing.

We all come from different backgrounds, have unique perspectives and insights which are valuable to others - so why not share them? You never know when they might come in use to convince others of the value of your ideas.

I don't know about you, but I am always looking for good anecdotes to share which show that "we are not alone" that others are undertaking similar initiatives or have tried and moved on.
This is an experiment which I hope will work - if you have read "The Wisdom of Crowds" you will understand that diversity of opinion is key. I certainly hope you are willing to share your anecdotes which others can embrace in meaningful ways. This is meant to be "open source" so feel free to share and use. However, it would be appreciated if you can acknowledge the source and point people back to this wiki - the more community we get - the richer the pool of anecdotes!

Also feel free to drop me a line with feedback / suggestions (chrisfletch@optushome.com.au) or visit my blog and do likewise (http://adventurekm.typepad.com)

Below is a starting point to categorise our anecdotes - feel free to modify or change the structure
